The family and friends of Kevin Duffy are uniting to help support Kevin during his fight with Brain Cancer. Please show your Support!!!!

It all started for Kevin in 2002 when serving in the military. He began having "rolling migraines" he became very concerned and later found my scans Kevin was diagnosed with a common brain caner called Meningioma. Although, it is the most common and begnin in most cases after a biopsy of 1 out of 6 tumors the cancer came back malignant. This is when Kevin's cancer struggle began. He bounced back and forth between doctors only to be told "there is nothing we can do for you. You are going to die. We can make you as comfortable as possible but the end result will be the same." Kevin had heard enough and began searching for a doctor who would fight with him. At this time Kevin had undergone four surgeries to the brain, to remove the tumors but they only continued to return and regrow. In 2009 Kevin had 5th surgery and the outcome was a success. The follow up scans came back clean. AMEN! The doctors were optimistic that they had got all of the cancer at that time.

Fast Forward to now... Kevin is now a husband and father but also has now become a cancer fighter as well. At the end of June Kevin started having the rolling migraines again. Scans again found 2 new tumors both on the left side of the brain. One on the front and one on the back. The doctors want to fight this cancer with aggression to stunt the growth. Kevin will be undergoing chemotherapy for a while, at this point it is not known how long. The doctors are waiting to see if the tumors will continue to grow.

Kevin's family does not have insurance and are having to pay for all treatments and travel arrangements out of pocket. He has been suggested to change doctors but refuses to give up on the only doctor who has never given him the death sentence. Kevin's doctor has given him hope that one day again HE WILL BE CANCER FREE!
