First of all, thank you for visiting our page! It is with a grateful heart that this is being written. My Dad, Walt Keller, has been battling CLL and Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma for about 14 years. He has had two stem cell transplants and has gained over 5 years with each treatment. He has now been accepted into a clinical trial that, although risky, has the potential to CURE his cancer. Walt is an exceptional Dad and Grandpa. He has worked hard since he was 14 years old, after the death of his mother. He has refused to quit battling this awful disease that affects so many. Over his lifetime, he has coached more kids in baseball than we could ever count! This clinical trial has the potential to help so many others and my Dad is willing to literally risk his life to be cured and to help find a cure for others. I cannot even imagine the amount of bravery this takes. Because my Dad is self-employed (a company of 1), it is very heavy on his heart that he has to be out of his home state (Ca) to do this treatment. He will be in Pennsylvania for two to three months. This means he cannot work and therefore will not have income from his business during this time. Also, his job is very physical and he may not be able to work for up to six months after treatment. I am hoping we can raise some funds so that he can focus on his treatment without worrying about bills. Any amount will help. Prayers are especially important also as they have gotten us all this far! May God bless you as you bless others!
