Donations for the Rhythm and Blooms Knoxville Vacation Package will receive multiple entries for every $200 donated (e.g. $200-one entry, $400=two entries, $600=3 entries, etc).

3) When making your donation on, you MUST tell us who you are (no anonymous donations if you want to be entered in the raffle) and you MUST show how much you donated (no "Hidden" amounts). This will help us keep track of who goes in what drawing.

4) Names of donors will be drawn from a box of raffle entries on or around March 6, 2012, and winners will be contacted immediately.

5) Please note that all raffle packages are valued at much higher than the donation entry level. We are very grateful to all of the sponsors of this raffle!

Katie Fields was diagnosed with spastic quadriplegia, the most severe form of cerebral palsy, when she was born 11 years ago. Because of this, Katie cannot walk, talk, or take care of herself.

Since birth, Katie has been cared for by her grandparents, Johnny and Kathy Terry. Johnny is a disabled coal miner with back and heart problems. Sadly, Kathy passed away after a battle with cancer in December 2011.

Now, Johnny is the primary caregiver for Katie. He does have the help of friends and family, but the quality of his life, and Katie's life, would be greatly improved with the mobility that a wheelchair accessible van would provide.

Katie is a full-grown pre-teen now, and getting her in and out of their current vehicle is very hard on Johnny and Katie. Because of this, he is trying to purchase a wheelchair accessible van. An accessible van would provide them with reliable transportation to get Katie to school, important doctor's appointments, and dental appointments.

Currently, Johnny relies on a medical transport service to take Katie anywhere. The service requires 72-hour notice, and is not always reliable. They have missed doctor's appointments because of this, and, if there is an emergency, this service is not an option.

Please help us meet our goal of getting Johnny a wheelchair accessible van by contributing what you can today. Please remember, these donations are not tax deductible, but sure would mean a lot to Katie, Johnny, and the rest of the family.
