Family and friends of Rob Miller are raising money for his recovery needs not covered by insurance. Please show your support.

Rob fell while cutting a tree in his dad's yard June 29, 2009. He was in Grady's Trama Center in Atlanta for close to two weeks. He then transferred to ICU at the Shepherd Center. He was in the Shepherd Center for nearly four months.

Rob and his wife have three children ages 5, 6 and 17.
Needless to say, life has changed drastically for this family. Rob is classified as an incomplete quadraplegic.

He has worked constantly since his accident to recover
as much function as possible. He has a strong will, and has a goal to improve his physical condition, believing he will be walking and becoming more and more independent.

With God's help, he has made much progress: Ventilator gone, feeding tube gone, trach gone, mental capacities are great, speech is great. He can now move his arms, hands, move his legs, bend his knees, and more. He can walk in a pool of waist high water, pitch a ball, handle a manual wheelchair.

He still has a ways to go, but with his continued drive, he will meet his goals....but needs help in securing equipment at home so that he can get his educational classes started and exercise during the week. It takes two hours daily to travel to and from the Shepherd Center. Expenses for gas and therapy are high,
and only about 5% is covered by insurance during the year. It is terribly expensive to have the physical therapy needs met....but he is making such good progress, he doesn't want to stop.

With additional help to get needed medical and exercise equipment, this husband and father can do a lot to help himself and his family.
