These funds will be used for Joben's surgery

Our rottweiler Joben, who is a little over a year old, had surgery in April on his liver because he has an intrahepatic portosystemic shunt. This is a very rare condition for dogs of his size. A stent and a coil were put in Joben with the goal of ultimately forming a clot and re-routing the blood through the liver. We went through with the surgery knowing that there was a chance he would need a second surgery, but of course praying that he wouldn't. Unfortunately, we recently found out that his bile acid levels are not where they need to be and he will need to go in for another surgery to have more coils put in. Due to the high cost of his first surgery and all of the medicine he has had to be on and the special diet he requires, we are unable to finance this surgery. I cannot imagine putting him to sleep because he is my "happy," my companion, and the thing I look forward to when I come home from work every day. Please support in whatever way you can!
