Please help us raise money to help the Silvia family as they deal with Maddy's horrific injuries suffered in an unbelievable incident.

Madeline Silvia was heinously run down by an SUV driven by a classmate of hers Friday April 26, 2013 after the girls had a verbal exchange in front of a friends home.

Buffalo News article

This unspeakable act has left Maddy in the Erie County Medical Center's Trauma Unit with multiple pelvic fractures, serious internal injuries, and cuts and contusions to her entire body. It is not known yet how long Maddy will need to stay at ECMC but the extent of her injuries mean a long recovery period. For sure, her home will need to be evaluated and adapted to her as her fractures will inhibit her from using stairs. etc. Maddy was planning on attending proms and graduation this Spring and instead will be dealing with excruciating pain and rehabilitation. Her parents, Kate ( who was laid off from her job recently ) and Bill ( who has had to take time off from Dunlop) are facing mounting debt due to unforeseen expenses and non covered medical expenses and lost wages. We are trying to help them by raising funds to relieve the financial stress they are under in addition to the stress of Maddy's injuries.
Can you help????

Everyone asks at a time like this " what can I do?"

Here is your answer - you can donate! $100 would be great, but any amount is gratefully accepted and appreciated - no amount is too small or too large, all will be used to support the family's needs during the upcoming summer of recovery. If 100 people gave $100 we would reach our goal. Or, a little over $300 a day raised this month will meet the goal. Any amount you can give will help.

If you cannot give, please just remember the entire Silvia family in your prayers. If you know of someone who may know Maddy or Kate or Bill or Maddy's brother Alex and would want to help please direct them to this site. We believe God will bless those that give forward to help others.

Thank you in advance for whatever you can give to help the Silvia's.
