This is a fundraiser to help Brianna and her family as they struggle through this rough time.

Brianna (age 14) is a warrior fighting for her life against a monster called High Risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia..... This is her story!

In April 2009, at only 11 years old, she was diagnosed with Pre-B Cell Acure Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She went through many grueling chemotherapy treatments and hospitalizations at Albany Medical center. Although she was in remission for a little while, she started getting horrible headaches and was very fatigued all the time. After multiple Dr. and ER visits, they found out on July 09, 2012, that Brianna had relapsed. The Leukemia is back and this time is it not only in her bone marrow, but also in her central nervous system! They have also learned the Brianna has a rare form of leukemia involving cytogenetic abnormalities in her 21st chromosome. Their doctor has informed them that there have only been 40 cases in the US and Europe combined in the last twenty years. Her parents and full blooded brother were tested to see if they were a match for a bone marrow transplant.... but no luck :( There is a slight chance that the bone marrow registry may have a match that can save her life! If no match is found, the original plan of chemotherapy and brain radiation will continue.

Currently, Brianna has been transferred from Albany Medical Center and is being treated at Sloan Kettering in New York City. This is going to provide a financial strain on the family being that it's a 6 hour long round trip at this point, at least 2x a week. Currently they take the Amtrak train from their hometown down into NYC. Doctors have informed them that there will be times where Brianna and Danielle (Bri's mom and my best friend) may have to live in New York City if she is too sick to commute.

This terrible disease has taken it's toll and has wreaked havoc not just mentally, emotionally, physically but monetarily too! There has been and will be times where Danielle's husband Joe the soul provider for their family of 6 has to miss work and stay home to care for the other 3 children. When he has to miss work, he does not get paid as he has already gone through all of his time off benefits to be at home when Warrior Bri is in the hospital.

Any amount of money will help! I also ask not for just monetary donations but prayers and well wishes for Brianna and her family! She needs all the love, support, prayers and positive energy she can get!

If you do not want to donate but would like to offer them credits with Amtrak, or send prepaid gift cards they can use for meals or taxi fair ... that would be great too!

Their mailing address is:

Thank you in advance for your support and love for my little warrior Niece Brianna!
