We are raising funds to create a memorial for Robert Heym, a kind and gentle man who was brutally murdered on October 23, 2012.

PLEASE READ THE UPDATES - Most Recently Updated November 13!

On Tuesday, October 23, 2012, Robert "Bob" Heym was brutally murdered while walking home from work. He had just turned 65 earlier this month, and he was shot in the face. Police made two arrests on Wednesday night (October 24). Thank you to the CMPD for working so diligently to bring these people to justice! To read the official story, please visit the links section on the left.

Bob was a gentle man who lived a simple life. After work, he enjoyed playing guitar, watching baseball, and caring for the stray kittens that lived outside his apartment (despite being allergic to cats). While Bob died with no living family members, he was loved by his friends who all considered him part of the family.

We pray that the generosity of everyone will help provide him with a permanent memorial that boldly states that love and kindness always overcome evil. If donations are received in excess of the cost of the memorial, the additional funds will be donated to various causes and charities that will honor Bob's memory. God bless you all and thank you for your support!

If you cannot afford to give financially, please just share the story so that more people will have the opportunity to help us make something positive come from such a horrific crime!
