Anabelle and her family need our help to cover unexpected medical and living expenses during her journey with Trisomy 21, PDA, and VSD.

Our sweet seventh child, Anabelle, was born August 15th, 2014. It was after birth that Anabelle was diagnosed with Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome), as well as a VSD- ventricular septal defect, and PDA- patent ductus arteriosus- and has been in NICU since birth. I (mom) have stayed with her in NICU continuously, vigorously trying to breastfeed her and pumping so that she can have breastmilk for her NG tube feedings. My husband has been out of work, at home with our six other children- ages 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, and 1.5- so that I am able to stay with Anabelle in NICU. We were not aware that my husband only had 5 paid vacation days available, and have now been told that if he does not go in to work on Monday (9/8/14) he will loose his job. As we believed his vacation time would give two weeks (10 days) of paid leave, we were not prepared for the upcoming 3 weeks without income and have nothing until his next paycheck on 9/19/14. I am asking for a hand-up, to help keep our family on it's feet with living expenses until my husband is paid again. -housing expenses, gas for my husband to get to and from work as well as to and from the hospital, as I will have to leave Anabelle in NICU and care for our other six children while he is working., and I also very much need a breast pump so that I can continue to pump for Anabelle while away, and that is not covered by our insurance.
Whether you can donate to our family or not, I would greatly appreciate prayers and positive thoughts that things will work out and our sweet Anabelle will be able to discharge from NICU and join her six older siblings who very much want to meet her soon.
