This fund is set up to insure that Casey has all that he needs to be comfortable in the next few weeks.

Casey Jones expected to be able to provide a good life for his two little girls. He, like any healthy young man, loved his family (especially his 3 years old twins Sadie and Kennedy), his career, sports (especially basketball) and his friends. Then the unimaginable happened and the 29 year old was stricken with the gravest of medical crisis and the life he imagined and planned for is no longer possible.

On Thursday, August 2, Casey fell into a coma while travelling through New Mexico. He has remained in ICU in Las Cruces, without improvement since that time. As his family has gathered around him, the doctors have broken the sad news that there is little or no hope for any sort of recovery. The family is now making arrangements to keep Casey as comfortable as possible while awaiting the inevitable.

Casey, as an independent, travelling poker dealer and supervisor, worked hard to provide a future for his young family, but like most of the people in that field, didn't have the luxury of health or life insurance. Now as he faces the bleakest of prognosis, both his family and the girls he loved so are also facing unsurmountable debt.
Many of Casey's friends and colleagues have been asking what they could do to help. They know Casey's focus in life was loving and providing for his girls and that focus must now be carried out by those who loved and knew him.

This fund is set up to insure that Casey has all that he needs to be comfortable in the next few weeks. Additionally, it is a way for us to honor him by doing what he can no longer do.....provide opportunities for Sadie and Kennedy. The fund will be administered by Casey's mother, Lesa Nichols, and his father, Dennis Jones. They will insure that not only are your contributions put to good use, but that his girls will understand that their father's legacy was visible in the contributions of those who loved, respected and will tragically miss him.
