Surgery needed for 17 year old daughter that is unable to have normal life due to everyday pain.

In May of 2009 my 15 year old daughter Cassie starting having excruciating pain in her lower abdomen. we took her to that hospital and they said it was just gas.... the treatments for this didn't help. We started taking her to the hospital approximately every 2 weeks to every month around her menstrual cycle... they still couldn't find anything wrong. After a year of this we finally got to see an OB/GYN and they said that she possibly had endometriosis, but.... was to young and they didn't want to do the surgery. The Dr. just put her on some birth control to see if this would help the pain and possibly keep her from menstruating. At first this helped decrease the pain, and after about two months of this treatment it stopped working. Cassie's Fathers insurance got canceled because he lost his job. I am unable to get insurance because I suffer from clinical depression and migraines. While all this is going on Cassie end up dropping out of school due to failing algebra from being in the hospital for 2 weeks and them still being unable to help with the pain. She was so discouraged due to not being able to be active in track and cross country, or even do most everyday things. This saddens me as her Mother and I feel helpless, but I continue to try to find ways to get things done for her and make this happen. We finally went to another hospital and the OB/GYN there saw Cassie for free. He ran a bunch of test and they still couldn't find anything. However, due to her symptoms and consistent pain he is sure she has endometriosis, although the only way to tell is to have laparoscopic surgery. in April of 2011 we had a scheduled surgery for May 9, 2011. Just a week before the surgery the insurance we had said they wouldn't pay for it because it was a preexisting condition, and the hospital couldn't assist us with a payment plan. Now we sit here wondering how we are going to pay for an $11,000 surgery out of pocket... that's when my wonderful daughter stumbled along this website and we hope that all of you can help us get this done. She has 2 major dreams in her life, the first is to have kids and be able to live a normal life The second is to become a surgeon. I want all her dreams to come true as a parent. She works so hard to make things happen even completing her GED and is ready to attempt the college placement test. I am so proud of her. I have saved enough money to pay the Dr. to do the surgery now I just need to raise enough to pay the hospital to have the surgery done. This child is a shining light being weighted down by pain and her future possibly rests on this surgery. I can't watch her be in pain any longer and I have gone through all the options I know of. We appreciate any help you wonderful and caring people can give us. Cassie sends you all a smile :) and a THANK YOU!!
