Help send us on a service-immersion trip to pay witness and learn about social justice issues plaguing the United States.

From May 22-June 6, we plan to travel to the western United States to pay witness to and learn about social justices plaguing our nation.

First, we'll work at La Puente Home, a multi-service shelter in Colorado's San Luis Valley that serves the homeless, seasonal farm workers, and other community members in crisis. The team prepares meals, works in the food bank and community garden, and serves in PALS, an after school and summer children’s program. The group also learns about the support services offered at La Puente, including homelessness prevention and job training. For additional information about La Puente, please visit

We'll then visit the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in southeastern Montana where they are immersed in Northern Cheyenne culture and heritage through meetings with tribal elders and participation in rituals such as Round and Gourd Dancing, Pow Wows, Story Telling and Camping in a Traditional Teepee. The team also reflects on the history and realities of modern life on the reservation. For additional information about the Northern Cheyenne tribe, please visit

The total cost of the project is $1,200 per person, so we hope to fundraise a total of $14,400! Any donation is greatly appreciated!
