Lisa Peschel-Hoerter - Breast Cancer Sucks!
This is Lisa Peschel-Hoerter's Breast Cancer Treatment Fund. The funds will be used to kick Breast Cancer's Ass!
Lisa is a 50 year old Alaskan woman and the author of Llewellyn's "A Practical Guide to the Runes." She was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer and will need to undergo six months of aggressive chemotherapy followed by 6 to 8 weeks of daily radiation treatments. These treatments will require her to make a 75 mile round trip to get to the medical center.
Because her immune system will be compromised during her chemo, she is unable to live in her bus off the grid. She must be in a clean environment with running water. She must find a new place to live during this time.
Recently she had to be taken by ambulance to the ER because of complications with her chemotherapy port. Lisa has no medical insurance and hasn't worked since last September. She is having difficulty dealing with all the unexpected expenses that go along with the breast cancer diagnosis.
Please use this page to keep up with Lisa's progress and treatments and to encourage her and let her know you are thinking about her.
If you wish to contribute a donation to help with the outrageous expenses this illness has generated, please do. You can donate on this page. Thank you!
