Edwin and Samatha Potvin are a proud family, and they do ample for the community, please support Emily and her family in this time of need.

Six-year-old Emily Potvin was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer on Thanksgiving Day and it affected everyone in her life, but her mom tells all of her friends and family that it's her “babygirl's positivity” that's keeping everyone else strong. Samantha Potvin, a mother of two from Long Beach, California, explains the chemotherapy, surgery, head shaving and so on that her daughter has already endured and what the future holds for them. Emily was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer on Thanksgiving Day. The family was told that she was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma which is one of the most rarest cancers a child could have. Little Emily had her kidney removed on Monday, and it has confirmed that both her mother and father have lost their jobs transporting little Emily back and forth to doctor visits. In the past months the family has taken out three subsidary mortgage loans in order to begin to pay for Emily's medical charges. After maxing out all credit cards to their names Edwin and Samantha Potvin resorted to autioning tvs, wedding bands, and even Emily's favorite past time, the Nintendo Wii Gaming Console. Though it was hard for him to do Edwin explained to his daughter that they were only material things, and that as long as they had each other they could survive anything; Emily agreed with her father, which is why her mother expressed to me If Emily has the ability to ignore all odds and percentages, then maybe we can all learn something from her. When you think about it, what other choice is there but to hope? We have two options, medically and emotionally: give up, or Fight Like Hell.
