The family and friends of Allison Faith Hill are uniting to raise money to send Alli to Munroe-Meyer Institute for feeding disorders.

Allison Faith Hill

Alli came into this world on December 9, 2005. She was diagnosed with Down Syndrome and an AV canal heart defect at birth. Due to her heart condition, Alli was unable to eat by mouth and was fed by a nasogastric tube. At just 6 weeks old, Alli went into congestive heart failure and had to have open heart surgery.
To date, Alli has spent many days in the hospital, gone through several treatments and been on numerous medications. Also, Alli has undergone 6 surgeries in her 6 years of life; a Nissen Fundoplication (stomach surgery) and gastrostomy tube (G tube) placement (in order to be fed by a tube), ear tubes 3 times, tonsils and adenoids removed and most recently, a cochlear implant placed (in order to hear).
As you can see, Alli has overcome many obstacles and exceeded expectations repeatedly. Alli has always enjoyed life to the fullest, has a spirit of a fighter and a contagious smile that could melt your heart! She enjoys typical activities that 6-year-olds do such as dancing, playing, swimming, swinging and even bothering her older sister and younger brother!
Alli has made huge strides, especially this school year. Being able to finally hear had opened a new world for her. She has shown the want to be independent with eating but needs assistance in reaching this goal. Munroe-Meyer Institute for feeding disorders is just the place to help Alli reach her potential and ability to eat by mouth.
The purpose of our fundraiser is to ask for support in sending Alli to this 8 week long intensive eating program. The family of Allison Hill express extreme gratitude for your donations and support in helping Alli exceed yet another expectation and create a new dream for her. Thank you!!!
