Family and friends of Marshall are working together to help save a young dogs life from his battle with toxic epidermal necrolysis.

Marshall is a five year old cocker spaniel. He was recently diagnosed with toxic epidermal necrolysis, or TEN. He is in need of an extended stay at the vet hospital and several surgeries after his battle with the disease.

Not much is known about TEN. It is thought that it is some kind of allergic reaction. The disease causes areas of the animals skin and sometimes, in more severe cases muscle tissue to die. The disease can be found in many different mammals.

The survival rate is low in the 50% area, and tends to be lower for dogs. Sadly this is not because of the disease but more commonly because owners can not afford care.

Marshall has currently made it past the worst part of the disease and is awaiting his surgeries to remove the necrotic, or dead, tissue from his belly.

We are not asking for the full bill to be paid, but only a portion. With the help of friends, family, the community and strangers we can save this young dogs life! We appreciate any and all help. Thank you, and God bless you!
