Please help transport Lori safely from Tucson, AZ to Pennsylvania in this time of need.
Her current physical condition is delicate. Lori was in a car accident when she was a teenager, suffering a spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed from the neck down (quadriplegic). In addition, she has suffered secondary complications (Syringomyelia and pressure wounds from her wheelchair). In order to survive ground transportation it is crucial that she travel on a hospital bed or stretcher with her air mattress, other necessary medical equipment, and a medical staff person. Additional challenges include transporting her wheelchairs, electric lift, van, personal effects, etc.; however, our highest priority is Lori’s survival.
We must add that Lori is an intelligent, funny, beautiful young woman who deserves a chance to continue living her life and to find happiness again in this sad time. Although she is a very independent young woman, realistically she cannot be alone. Please help Lori move on with her life. The rest of Lori’s family members live in the Northeast (PA & NY). We have researched quotes from numerous ground and air medical transport companies, charities, etc., which are multi-thousands of dollars. It is from our hearts that we ask for your help. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this. No matter how big or small, your gift will help Lori.
Your gifts can be made through PAYPAL or CREDIT CARD. If you would like to MAIL A CHECK payable to "Victoria Miller / Lori's Medical Transport Gift Fund", please mail to: PNB (Peoples Neighborhood Bank), Lori's Medical Transport Gift Fund, P.O. Box 149, Tunkhannock, PA 18657. Your contribution will be used directly for Lori’s costs incurred during her transport from Arizona to Pennsylvania; and other medical costs associated therewith.
“….Some may call it a person's spirit, soul or whatnot but David's energy is surrounding me every day and helping me through this terrible time. We were only together for 14 1/2 years and I am so honored to have known such a brilliant, selfless man…” ~Lori Michaelson
