This is Nathan Spenders medical expense fundraiser, the Spender family will get 100% of donations to put towards all medical expenses.

As many of you know my sister had a little boy in October of this past year, Nathan who also happens to be my Godson. Nathan had complications on day two of his life and it caused for a trip to the NICU. Nathan then went under a lot of testing that led up to a diagnosis of Hirschsprungs, this is a disease of the colon. Nathan was then put on a tube to suction out everything in his stomach. Right before surgery his bilirubin skyrocketed which put him under three UV ray machines and a blanket. On day three he went in for his first surgery, the result of this surgery was a colostomy bag. Nathan was also diagnosed with preauricular pits around his ears this could cause hearing loss and kidney failure, so after surgery he went in for kidney ultrasounds a hearing test (which he passed all with flying colors). Two weeks before Christmas he went in for his second surgery they removed 7inches of colon and as the surgeon said reconnected his “plumbing”. The surgery went well and Nate was out of the hospital two days before even expected, but he did have many complications including numerous trips to the ER. My sister and her husband have not had anything easy; Owen had an immune disorder and ended up in the hospital a few days after Nathan had his surgery! My sister has never turned down any medically necessary testing for her kids, she has done everything and anything the doctor asked or recommended. I have two very healthy nephews now, but Sean an Courtney have quite some hefty medical bills, in which one included the NICU threatening to sue them, along with anesthesiologist bills, hospital bills and some big ER bills. I am asking you to donate if you can but also share with others, they deserve the help. Thank you for all your help and your support the whole family appreciates it!
