The friends and family of Jay Jennings are uniting to raise funds to help him tackle Kidney transplantation and recovery costs.

A father. A friend. A hard worker. That is how most people would describe Jay. What most of you don't know is that Jay's kidneys are now operating below 10%. Since November 2009, a week before his daughter was born, Jay was hospitalized due to Renal Failure. Since then, Jay has had to attend dialysis 3x a week for 4 hour sessions.

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning Jay leaves work at 7am to go to a dialysis clinic. Once he is seen, sometimes 3 hours later, he has two 16-gage needles placed into his arms to have his blood dialyzed. Once he is done with that, he then tries to tend to his two sons,of which he has full custody, before resting to head back to work for 11pm. If he misses just one treatment, then he becomes very sick and risks damage to other organs or his life. Dialysis was supposed to be a temporary solution but with every session he risks serious problems in the future. Long term effects can be heart failure and heart disease. Jay has been struggling with Kidney problems for over 15 years and we pray that we can find a resolution while his body is young and willing to fight.

It is estimated that first year transplant costs are over 100,000 dollars. Your donation will go towards paying for medications, doctor visits, insurance premiums and other unexpected expenses that may arise while he is out of work for at least 8 weeks after the surgery. We THANK YOU for taking the time out to read this and/or donating.

No contribution is too small. Every dollar counts.
