The family of Mizell are uniting to raise money to help his battle against Cirrhosis! Let us unite & help Mizell fight for his life!

Mizell Lampley, a dear father and beloved husband, was diagnosed with, cirrhosis of the liver, earlier this year (2012).

After being diagnosed with Hepatitis C from a blood transfusion he had over 30 years ago, it has turned his liver into the life threatening disease called, cirrhosis.

Cirrhosis of the liver affects the way your liver functions. Mizell has to take medication to get rid of the toxins in his body because his liver just can't do it any more. This disease deteriorates the liver and scar tissue replaces healthy liver tissue, blocking the flow of blood to the liver.

It is extremely painful to watch someone you love in pain and as you can imagine, this family crisis will take quite a toll on Mizell, emotionally and financially. He can not work due to this illness. It causes extreme fatigue and swelling, as well as other side effects.

Mizell is now in need of a liver transplant to live. God has been so good to him and the rest of his family and blessed him with the acceptance of being put on the Organ DonorList. Now, the waiting begins.

Although his insurance covers a lot of the procedure, Mizell will have to take medication for the rest of his life once the transplant is completed and will be out of work for a very long time due to recovery or may never be able to work again. We are asking for you to please help us in the raising of funds for my Mizell's transplant and medication. The money raised will also help with daily living expenses.

Mizell has had a lot of medical issues through out his life, with cancer being one to mention, and God has pulled him through it all, so we are sure the Lord will continue to bless Mizell and get him through this crisis as well.

Please do not hesitate to call with questions, concerns or well wishes for Mizell. You can contact his wife, Jeanette Lampley at: 678-993-3154.

Thank you so much for helping us during our time of need! May God Bless Us All!
