The family of Ariel Chin are trying to raise funds to cover the medical expenses of her battle against kidney failure.

UPDATE: After her latest vet exam and blood test, it was revealed that her condition has worsened and is beyond the treatment of the medical transfusion we were hoping to raise funds for. While kidney failure is relatively painless, she is in much discomfort from constant nausea, vomiting and exhaustion. After much deliberation, it was decided to say goodbye. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be allocated to her memorial service instead. Thank you and God bless you for all of your warm wishes, assistance, and prayers. * * * * * * * * * Rescued from an abusive family by Animal Haven ( this lovely Pomeranian was adopted and taken in by her current family, despite her medical conditions. She has been with her current family (her forever home!) for 4 years now. She suffers from severe renal kidney failures which are also impacting her liver and heart. Currently she is in the animal hospital for treatment, but expenses are racking up and her mommy and daddy and running out of options (and savings) in prolonging her life. A two-week infusion of IV fluids might offer a strong chance of saving her (it will act like a doggy dialysis) but unfortunately her mommy and daddy cannot afford that at the moment. Ariel is nearing her 10th birthday--still too young to say goodbye to this world and move to that great fire hydrant in the sky! She is a sweet and loving dog, who always wants to play and cuddle with people. She hardly ever barks and has a habit of stalking and pouncing on socks. Ariel is noted for crawling up into bed, at the wee hours of the morning, to snuggle with anyone and anything as long as they are warm and she is most fond of trying to lick people's mouths. This precious doggy is loved not as a pet but as a family member, and actively tears up when her family is away from her. She expresses so much love for everybody (even strangers!) and deserves a chance for a longer life. Won't you help please donate something (even a simple prayer would help) to prolong this doggy's life? Note that even a small donation will go to good use. It costs $350 a day to hospitalize her and pump her full of medicines including lactated ringers, azodyl, hi-vite and daily blood testing to gauge her BUN, phosphorous and creatinine levels. All monetary donations will get a personalized 'Thank You' from Ariel herself.
