The family and friends of Debra Hills are uniting to raise money to help with her battle against metastatic breast cancer.

Debra was diagnosed with Metastatic [met-ah-STA-tic] breast cancer (Stage IV or Advanced) this is a stage of breast cancer which cancer cells break away from the tumor in the breast, spread to other parts of the body and keep growing. On June 24, 2011 Debra had her left breast removed she had a brief remission without any signs of cancer we were joyful and grateful of this news. As of April 2012 she visited her local care clinic, complaining of lower and upper back pain, after her examination doctors learned she have a touch of pneumonia, and a recurrent breast primary with metastatic cancer in her lung, liver and bones.

Doctors explain to us there is no cure for Metastatic Breast Cancer and prognosis for what is now stage 4 is not good. However, we remain hopeful that she will beat the odds, and grateful for each day we are given.

Debra is a wife and mother of 3 sons. She is not able to work due to the frequency of recurrences and treatment needed to fight this. Her husband, Warren, is underemployed and they have loss 60% of there annual income and their private insurance plan is very expensive and won't go into effect until January 2013, at present Medicare covers very little, especially the high tech scans and tests needed to keep on top of this disease.

This ongoing battle has drained their family both mentally and financially. Debra is in the battle of her life right now and the mounting medical bills are a worry we would like to take away from her.

We do believe in miracles and we pray for one each day.

God Bless you.
