Make a difference in a family that lost their father and husband; left with debt and pain. Help them recover their future.

*note that I am listed as the beneficiary in order to transfer the funds to Angie here in Singapore. 100% of the funds will reach Angie and her family. I will absorb any TT fees. If you would like to give directly to Angie here in Singapore, please contact me at connorcl (at) gmail.com for arrangements.

I don't normally donate money and will rarely champion a cause. I feel there are agencies and people set up to handle these things. This time I find that I cannot walk away. This time it isn't just one person in need of help, but a family and two children's futures. I am also moved by the strength of the family and that I was not asked to help.

I want to give these two children and their mother my strong support and another chance to push through and recover from this horrible, horrible loss. I hope that you too will see the benefit of giving and open your wallet for a small donation to support the recovery of the Angie Ng and her two children.

- The Fund Raising Background -

Less than two weeks ago, the husband and farther Er Kek Hua was hospitalized in Malaysia for treatment of his gallbladder. However, after surgery his condition continued to deteriorate. On Monday the 10th of Sept he was transferred to Singapore General Hospital for further diagnosis. Only then was he diagnosed with Kidney failure. By Tuesday he was in a coma. On Saturday, Sept 15, 2012, he passed away leaving his wife and two children.

This fundraiser is to cover the direct costs to-date of the treatment and support. Expenses due to the hospital are already more than 50,000 SGD above what is covered by insurance, at this point the final total is not know. As the total need is made clear, I will adjust the fund-raiser. Any small or big amount will help greatly in supporting the expenses of the treatment.

Any excess donations will be put in trust for the two children and support the family during this transition time.
