Please join me in blessing the socks off this amazing family! God bless you.

I am asking from the bottom of my heart for you to consider helping a fellow Christian family during their time of loss. About six months ago our dear friends learned the fate of their unborn child, Lydia Ann. This precious baby girl was being formed with a severely damaged brain. Many doctors recommended to terminate the pregnancy but my friend Joanna couldn't bear the thought of ending one of God's lives. She had already felt this child move inside of her and decided to carry this baby at all costs. Against all odds, Lydia Ann survived the pregnancy and was brought into this life with an amazing purpose.

Not only did she survive the birth, but she was able to go home with her mother, father and two loving and very excited little sisters for almost an entire month! This baby's life was nothing short of a miracle. The parents, Kevin & Joanna, shared through blogs and facebook this very trying time giving nothing but glory to God for allowing them the opportunity to meet and hold their daughter.

Lydia Ann passed away in the arms of her parents. The family was able share these last moments with their precious baby girl before she went to her forever home. She lived for 27 beautiful days that were truly a gift from God.

This family has shown an immense amount of courage and strength as their hearts were ripped out of their chest watching their child pass, not once but twice. Rather than complaining or asking 'why me', they said thank you each and every day. The lesson they feel Lydia Ann was sent here to share was simply this, LIVE each and every day as if it were your last. Many of us are guilty of living life as though we still have tomorrow or another 'later' chance at fixing things. Lydia showed not only her family, but everyone her story reached, how to live life in the moment and to be thankful for this life God has given us. She has brought so much joy & healing to others who have experienced a similar loss. She has also helped those families to know it's okay to speak of their loss and to share their stories as well. This sweet child touched more lives in her short 27 days here on earth than some people do in a lifetime. Her parents were the vessels chosen to carry out her story. They are remarkable people who deserve to have love just poured out on them.

Here is where I ask and plead with you to consider helping. As you can imagine, the Crabtrees' have a considerable amount of medical bills, funeral expenses and just overall bills that have stacked up. They live on a very meagerly income and it is my wish to be able to gather enough resources to be able to provide meals, possibly a house cleaner, gift cards to restaurants in their small town & whatever else they may be in need of during their time of grieving.

There are several different ways you can help. One, simply by praying for this family. Their sadness and grief is immeasurable right now and they don't have a lot of family near for support. Please pray for healing and strength to keep moving forward. You can donate any amount of money you can spare, possibly in the amount of maybe a meal for a family of four. If you can do more, great! If not, anything will do, there's no small amount if we get as many people on board....everything counts!!

This is not a family who blows through money. They save everything they earn and they live by the Dave Ramsey principals. Your donation would go towards helping this family stay above water and by allowing them the peace of mind that they will be carried through this tragedy without the fear of drowning in bills. My goal is bless the socks off this family, will you join me?

You can send your donations to me personally and I will work on getting gift cards etc, OR if you would prefer, I have created this fundraiser page where you can pay with a credit card and your money will go directly to the Crabtrees at the close of the fundraiser on March 23rd, 2012.

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you for your consideration. May God bless you abundantly!
