The family & friends of Dre Aloia are uniting to raise money to help with his medical bills, rehab equipment, etc. Please show your support!

For those of you who know Dre Aloia, you know that he has recently been facing the toughest obstacle of his life. For those of you who don't know Dre's story, this will hopefully find a place in your heart.
Dre is 26 years old and grew up in Lakeland, Florida with a passion for music and the martial arts. He is a class of 2004 Lake Gibson High School alumni and a Varsity wrestler on the Braves wrestling team for 4 years. From there, he went on to study Engineering at Polk State College. After school, Dre joined the United States Navy where he served in the SEAL/BUDS division in Coronado, San Diego for 13 months prior to being honorably discharged. Throughout his life, he has given back to his community and to his country. He has been a valued employee at Beef 'O Brady's and most recently, Guitar Center.

On March 17, 2011, Dre was involved in a motorcycle accident, leaving him with multiple injuries, the most severe of the injuries being a broken spine, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. In the past 4 weeks at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, he has undergone brain surgery, spine surgery and the painful process of getting him to breathe on his own. The first night in ICU, Dre was not expected to make it through the night. The second night, his family was told he had a 50/50 chance to pull through. Since the accident, Dre has beaten the odds on numerous occasions and continues to amaze doctors with his progress. He has been blessed with an amazing surgical team that has given him a second chance at life. Dre has also been blessed with an amazing family that hasn't left his side and amazing friends that pray for him daily! He has experienced many miracles throughout his recovery and we have faith that there are many more to come!

The next step in his recovery is rehab. Dre has been accepted into the Joy-Fuller rehab facility that specializes in brain and spinal injuries. Through all of the pain, Dre has managed to be extremely positive and optimistic about his future. His determination to walk again is truly inspiring, and his strength has given many of us a new perception on life! We know he has the will and mind set to have a successful recovery! We now need contributions for extra expenses that will occur during his recovery.

Dre desperately needs our help right now! Your contribution will be helping this individual and his family more than you know! Thank you for your time and consideration. God Bless!
