The Breath of Fresh Air Lung Transplant Fund to help Dana with her medical expense.

The family of Dana Scott are uniting to raise money to help with her battle against Sarcoidosis.
Dana was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis in 2006. Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory disease that affects one or more organs but most commonly affects the lungs and lymph glands. As a result of the inflammation, abnormal lumps or nodules (called granulomas) form in one or more organs of the body. Sarcoidosis has attacked different organs in her body, first was a seven pound tumor in her spleen. It was removed. Then it was her gall bladder, it was removed. Now it is her lungs. Dana is in need of a lung transplant. She is on the waiting list at Duke University Hospital but before she is selected she will need to have raised $10,000. This is the out of pocket expense that she will incur after the surgery. Duke University Hospital wants to make sure that she will be able to financially support her recovery process. Therefore, She will need to show evidence of available funds before being selected to go forward with the surgery. We ask that you prayerfully consider donating to this Fundraiser. This is an urgent matter and for Dana it is a matter of life or death. The funds are needed ASAP, her next appointment is February 27, 2012 and we are hoping to be able to provide a financial report to the hospital. Any financial help that she receive will be appreciated.
Thank you in advanced for your support.
