The family and friends of Judah would like to thank you for your support, prayers and donations!

My son Judah T. Ellis is 4 years old and he has two sisters that he loves dearly, Destanie (13) and McKenzie ( 9).

Judah was diagnosed on October 3, 2011 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He was 3 years old when he was diagnosed at Memorial University Hospital in Savannah, GA. He went back and forth to the hospital for a total of 6 weeks, before he was finally diagnosed. He suffered with high fevers, nose bleeds, severe leg pain and his legs would lock up and he would not be able to stretch them out for long periods of time. He started getting treatments immediately on October 4, 2011. Judah was in so much pain that the girls and I cried with him. The night that he had his first treatment; Judah was put to sleep for a bone marrow biopsy to receive chemotherapy in his spine. When I asked him how he felt, he woke up and whispered, "They better keep giving me that medicine, because it's working."

Judah will have to have treatments for three years. The doctors discovered if they give the entire dosage over a three year period, he would have a better chance at surviving. The doctors also stated, if they stop chemotherapy while the Leukemia is in remission; it tends to come back with a vengance making the cure harder. Judah was given a 90% chance at survival because the Leukemia that attacked his cells tends to be easier to cure in his age group. He receives his treatments at Backus Children Hospital of Memorial University in Savannah, GA once a month, but is also taking chemotherophy pills on a daily basis, as well as steroids.

As a single mother with 3 kids dealing with such a debilitating illness is not only emotionally draining, but it's also financially devastating, since all of Judah's medical expenses are not covered by insurance. I face the fear of running out of the financial means to keep my son in treatment. Please help me win this fight with my son against this terrible disease.

Again, thank you so much for your support and prayers. We will continue to provide updates on Judah's prognosis.

God Bless you,
