Patty Oneppo's river family is uniting to help her in her battle against cancer. Please show your love for Patty!
She is the mother of three handsome young men, and a loving grandmother.
Her youngest son has Angelman Syndrome, a neuro-genetic disorder characterized by severe developmental delay and requiring intensive daily care. Patty and her husband Don, a SC state park Ranger, have been tireless in their love and care for Clint.
In 2012 Patty was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a cancer of the plasma cells. It can affect bones, immune system, kidneys, and red blood cell count. She has undergone a Stem Cell Transplant, and it was thought that she was in remission. In early September 2013 Patty has discovered that the cancer has returned, and in a very aggressive manner.
She is currently hospitalized and awaiting treatment options.
