Julian was selected to travel/study w/People to People as a Student Ambassador! Please help us fund this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

Dear Friends and Family,

My name is Julian Alexander Wright. I am 15 years old and I am a straight A student at Campbell High School in Smyrna, GA. I am a member of The National Junior Honor Society, Campbell High Basketball and Track and Field Clubs. I enjoy tutoring younger kids in Math, spending quality time with family and friends, traveling to different places and making people laugh.
I recently received an invitation from the People to People Organization (PeopletoPeople.com) inviting me to explore Italy, France, Austria and Switzerland as a Student Ambassador over the summer of 2013. The People to People Ambassador Program was formed in 1956 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower with a mission to bridge cultural and political boarders through education and exchange, making the world a better place for future generations.
I was nominated by one of my former teachers and after interviewing and meeting a list of requirements, I was 1 of the 40 students selected to participate as a Student Ambassador out of 78 total students who received a nomination! During this trip, I will go to Europe to enhance my knowledge of that part of the world. I will be gone for 19 days and will be visiting such places as Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Leaning Tower of Pisa and many more places!
I am writing this letter to ask if you can help sponsor me in this once-in-a-lifetime endeavor by donating a one-time monetary gift of the amount your heart desires to assist me with raising my tuition of $6500 to participate. Not many students get picked to be in this program and I am excited about being selected to go. Anything you could donate would be so incredibly awesome, I would appreciate it immensely!
This is a trip of a lifetime that will be an educational experience that few people ever get to have in their life. I will experience unique people and places that only student ambassadors have access to. Due to this experience, I will be set apart from other students on college applications, and I will return as a child that is more confident and eager to continue learning. Eighty seven percent of the student ambassadors get accepted to the first college of their choice.
Thank you for taking time to consider assisting me with my educational endeavors.

Sincerely yours,
Julian A. Wright
