All proceeds go to the 11 PA students participating on this mission. Help the SBU PA Class of 2012 make the world a healthier place!

First year Physician Assistant students from Stony Brook University are giving up their spring break to team up with Blancas House, a non-profit organization of volunteer healthcare professionals who donate their time to provide free, invaluable medical treatment to children and their families. Whether through surgery, medical supplies, or educational outreach, Blanca's House provides twenty-first century medicine to the underprivileged. Across Long Island or around the world, Blanca's House brings healthcare to those who need it most.

Students, with the assistance of Doctors and PAs from Long Island, NY, will travel to Guayaquil, Ecuador from April 17-22. There, they will screen patients with cleft lips/palates, burns, and goiters, at a local clinic. Three weeks later, a medical team will fly down and provide surgery. Minimally, 80 patients will be screened during this visit. Additionally, patient clinic work in rural areas as well as visits to local schools are also on the agenda.
All proceeds go to the 11 PA students participating on this mission. Any monies raised over the cost of attendance will given to the Blancas house.
Please help them in their mission to make the world a healthier place!

Students participating: Jenna Daddario, Nick Agvent, Luis da Conceicao, Anna Hyland, Danielle Lyons, Daniella Cassella, Chris Szczesniak, Christie, Wiest, Jina Bai, Jessica Chavez, and Kelly Willard
