Koka is an nine year old German Shepherd with Mammory Tumors that needs Urgent surgery that i cannot afford.

I got Koka four months after my dad passed away in late February of 2003. She was my first own dog as well as my best friend. I was six years old at the time and we have grown together throughout the years. Every night i got to bed she has to be in my room with me, in the corner leaning against the door. If shes not she whimpers and whines all night outside my door, and we both feel the sense of loneliness and uncomfortably. Shes always been there for me and always has protected me while growing up. I still remember riding her when i was a little girl, the big German Shepherd dog giving piggy back rides to an seven year old. but now shes nine years old and i am 15 and we face a terrible crisis. She has been diagnosed with life-threatening mammary cancer. The costs of the surgery is too high for my family to afford and it seems like the only option is to let her go. But i look at her and i still see the life in her. And when i say walk, or bone her ears poke up in a second. Shes not ready yet to go. and i'm not ready either. Shes my best friend and i wont let her go through any of this alone. I know i have to let go someday, but today is not that day.
