The family of Samuel is raising money to help him, so one day soon his needs and feelings can be heard. Please help break the "silence"

Sammy is about to turn 7 and is an amazing young child that happens to Have **Mowat-Wilson Syndrome, **Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome and **Septo-Optic Dysplasia. I am adding links with information on these. Sam loves to laugh and play, he loves to be hugged, talked to and told, " I Love You Sam." unfortunately Sam is unable to say it back nor is he able to tell us if he is hungry, in pain, wants to play, is tired or any of the other things children talk about. Sam has already gone through numerous surgeries including heart surgeries and a surgery to help control his seizures. He has multiple food allergies, and sensory issues. Sam lives at home with his mom (me), his older sister, older brother and younger niece, his dad passed away in April but Sam still has the love and support of his stepmom and three stepbrothers. Sam communicates through his behaviors and much of the time it comes across as Frustration, I know much of his behavior comes from his inability to communicate. Think what it might be like to understand a lot of what is said to you but not be able to communicate in return. Sam is loved by all that know him and he touches many lives.

We want to get Sam an Ipad2 because it has amazing communication programs that are available for children like Sam, since this will be sams way of communicating and he needs to be able to fully use it everywhere I would like to get one with wi fi and 3g, 64gb and an extended warranty, a protective case, some wonderful learning apps for him, unfortunatly some are rather expensive, and any extras that might be needed. We are going to run this in place of birthday and Christmas gifts because we look forward seeing the progress he could make by using these programs.

If anyone wants more info on his very rare syndrome, just over 200 people diagnosed worldwide, have any questions or want to share some info you can email me at
