Family, friends and loved ones are coming together to raise money to help Joy Wilson with her medical and living expenses.

It has been a difficult year and a half for Joy. Her story begins when the company she worked for 29 years was sold, moved to Tennessee, shutting the Cleveland plant. It was an extremely challenging and emotional process, which she was a trooper throughout it all! She toughed out a year and a half without unemployment benefits and health insurance while continuously looking for a new job. She always held her head up high knowing things had to change. Then on October 4th on her way home from her new job she acquired in August, she had a terrible car accident on I-90 going 60 miles an hour. The passenger front tire fell off her car almost totaling her vehicle. Thank goodness no one was hurt. Then on October 18th Joy became very ill and was taken to St. John’s West Shore Hospital emergency room and was diagnosed with a 9.6 mm brain aneurysm. That same night she was transferred to University Hospital for brain surgery. She spent 17 days in the hospital. Thanks to great doctors and lots of prayers she is now recovering at home with assistance.

Throughout Joy’s life she has always been extremely generous to others, loving, and very hard working.
She is thankful for her family and friends and is blessed with surviving this life threatening illness.

I would like to ask you to please help Joy in anyway you can in raising funds for Joy’s medical and living expenses through this challenging time in her life.
Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Please feel free to pass on this website to others so we can help Joy as much as possible.

Thank you so much, she has continued to inspire us with her hard work ethics, unconditional love, and patience every day of our lives. Thank you once again for helping Joy through this difficult journey in her life. God Bless you all!
