Strangers, family, and friends, unite to help John on his path to recovery.

Support J.T. on his path to recovery from addiction. Help send him to a rehabilitation center so that he can get the treatment he needs.

$5000 will be a start in allowing him to spend at least a month in a highly rated inpatient facility that will provide him with the care he needs and deserves. He needs the 1-on-1 attention that a place like this would provide.

J.T. had been addicted to painkillers (opiates) on-and-off for almost a decade and he is only in his early twenties. He is now attempting a life of sobriety but needs help to do so. The addiction started shortly after a terrible basketball accident with his leg that left him bed ridden and on extremely high doses of highly addictive opiate pain pills at the age of 12. Regardless of whether or not the doctors who prescribed him these habit-forming prescription drugs were unethical or misguided in their treatment of him, J.T. was left with the consequences. Years of abuse of the pills ensued as the young man tried to cope with feelings of being "left behind" by his peers as he was forced to finish middle school in a home setting as his broken femur healed.

Without insurance, J.T. needs financial help to begin proper recovery.
