Please help in our time of need! Gavin's medical bills are rolling in steadily! Any donation, of any amount would be a huge help!

Gavin Pierpont, is a 16 year old, from Mountain Home, Idaho, who is battling Stage IV Hodgkin Lymphoma. Gavin is fighting this cancer with absolutely nothing less than hope and positivity. You've never seen a more kind, or more fun loving young man. He is very generous and is always willing to help out, no matter who it may be. Whether it is something physically demanding, or just simply helping somebody in need of someone to talk to, Gavin is always willing to give up whatever he's got going on, to lend a hand to a person in need. Gavin is known at his school as the "role model student" by his peers, and by his superiors. Gavin is usually a straight "A" student with almost perfect attendance. Gavin is just beginning his Junior year at Bennett Mountain High School, in Mountain Home, Idaho, this year.

Gavin is usually a pretty typical, busy teenager with tons of energy. He enjoys hanging out with friends and family, loves to watch football, he loves cooking, playing board games and card games, and he loves playing his video games, watching movies, and on, and on!
After months and months of agony, discomfort and misdiagnosis, we finally took Gavin to the emergency room, where, within a couple of hours, a chest x-ray, and a CT scan, they were able to pretty much give us a diagnosis of Lymphoma. Later that night, he had a bone marrow aspiration and biopsy done. The next day, a biopsy of the tumor and one of the lymph nodes was done. Gavin was initiallally diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma, Stage II, and was later determined to actually be Stage IV. He is currently going through treatment.

We have no idea how much all of this is going to cost. We definitely have a lot to learn as we go through 4-6 months of chemotherapy, followed by a few weeks of radiation. We just know, for sure that this family is in for some very rough terrain.  With your help, we are hoping that we will be able to raise enough funds to help with the massive amount of medical bills, and also to help with transportation costs and missed work time.  Gavin has had an amazingly positive and courageous attitude throughout his illness, we are so proud of him!

Thank you for any help that you are able to give! Most importantly, please keep Gavin and our family in your thoughts and prayers. With prayers, Gavin will be healed and will go on to live a healthy, productive life.
