Please help Abby fight Fibrous Dysplasia with a donation to help cover medical and transportation expenses not covered by insurance!

On March 29, 2012 Abby was diagnosed with an extremely rare and destructive bone disease called Fibrous Dysplasia which occured at birth. Abby's diagnosis shows she has Polyostotic Fibrous Dysplasia which is affecting most areas of her skull.

Abby currently has bone deformity forming in her right jaw and a large mass under her right eye. At this time there is a high chance that Abby will lose all sight in her right eye, possibly her hearing and most of her teeth. As this disease progresses she may also experience facial deformity due to the tissue mass expanding where her bones should be. This requires extensive surgery in order to repair the area with no guarantee that the affected area will stop growing.

Abby's doctors want her to be treated at Children's Hospital of St. Francis in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The cost for further testing to determine if she has McCune Albright Syndrome (which is a rare partnering disease) and these surgeries is anticipated to be over $20,000 beyond medical insurance coverage.

Please help us help Abby and her family as they battle the ravages of Polyostotic Fibrous Dysplasia.
