I HAVE ALWAYS HELD FIRMLY TO THE THOUGHT THAT EACH ONE OF US CAN DO A LITTLE SOMETHING TO BRING SOME PORTION OF MISERY TO AN END Schweitzer

Thank you for your interest in helping us choose life for Lizzie!

Please consider doing "A LITTLE SOMETHING" to help bring Lizzie's misery to an end. Any amount you can give will make a BIG difference and is greatly appreciated. If you cannot afford a donation, please consider reaching out to pet lovers you know via email, facebook, or twitter to visit www.giveforward.com/lifeforlizzie2. Or email us at the address below if you're interested in posting flyers in your neighborhood. The more people that read about Lizzie, the better her chances are for recovery.

We took Lizzie to the vet after she started exhibiting strange circling behavior and disorientation. The vet said her behavior might indicate a neurological condition or possibly even a brain tumor, but to be sure, Lizzie would need an MRI. If a brain tumor is diagnosed there's a good possibility that it could be succesfully removed. We are trying to raise money to work with a veterinarian specializing in neurology. Would Lizzie choose to recover and to enjoy a longer life or would she rather avoid a possibly difficult fight for survival? We don't know for sure what her answer would be, but whatever it would be, right now she has no choice. We would like to give her that choice. As long as the verterinarian thinks Lizzie would be able to recover from surgery successfully without causing her more pain than it's worth, why not give Lizzie the opportunity to recover? We believe that every pet, deserves the right to live a happy, healthy life. It's not Lizzie's fault that we cannot afford the costs involved, so we're putting aside our pride and doing what we can to try and raise the funds to help her. Lizzie's given her best to us and she deserves the best in return!
