No amount of help is too small and every penny will be emmensely appreciated. THANK YOU!

Like they say, "When it pours." As I fret over each day that passes until I am handed my pink slip after teaching for the past 15 years, a victim of the economy and its cuts on special programs in education, I am racked with worry on how I will support my family. During this period of time my daughter alerts me to a lump growing on my beloved Zoe's nipple. It was actually quite large as I rarely see that part of her underbelly. By the time I was able to have her seen by a veterenarian another growth emerged on her ear. The vet says that they are the result of a surge in her estrogen levels due to NOT being fixed.

At this point I am racked with guilt for not having her fixed....we just loved our girl so much we did not want her to endure the pain. I had no idea this decision would put my baby at risk.

So here we are: I am an unemployed teacher, struggling to care for my kids and unable to afford the $2500 surgery that my precious companion needs to remove the tumors (now 3) and prevent them from becoming cancerous.

Zoe is still just as lively, spunky and full of unconditional love for me and my girls as she was on the day we brought her home as a naughty 8 week old puppy. Putting this 7 year old member of our little family is out of the question and too heartwrenching to even consider. Please help.
