The family and friends of Kyle Anderman are raising funds to help Kyle start over. A devastating robbery/house fire has left him homeless.

On Sunday, July 24, Kyle was informed that he no longer had a home in OKC. During a weekend trip out of town, his residence was robbed and burned down. Both Kyle and his roommate took a 3 day weekend mini vacation, only to lose all of their personal belongings while they were away. Originally, police believed this was a robbery/arson situation. The house was on a large plot of land in the outskirts of the city, so there are no known witnesses. After the fire marshall checked out the scene and interviewed a few people, Kyle was advised that this was most likely two separate incidents. The fire Marshall believes that the home was broken into on Friday night, then burnt down Saturday night. We have no word on the cause (electrical or otherwise), or the initial location of the fire in the home. What we do know is that the suspects broke into the house through a French door in the master bedroom. They cleared out the most expensive items in the home, other than appliances: electronics, furniture, tools, etc. A trailer was filled up with items and driven off property! There are no leads on any specific suspects. The fire burnt down 60+% of the home, and caused smoke damage to everything thing that did survive. We are thankful to the fire department for saving what little things they could. The detached garage is virtually the only part of the house that remains standing. Luckily, both residents and the dog were out of the home when the fire broke out. We are still waiting to hear back from the local authorities about the cause and outcome of both situations. Kyle is now living back in Dallas at his parent's house. He was lucky to have some of his personal belongings out of the home before the incidents occurred. Because he was renting from the owner/his friend, we are unsure of what (if anything) Kyle will get covered by insurance. Unfortunately, the portion of the home that burnt down completely was the back three bedrooms. Kyle lost all of his furniture, 85+% of his wardrobe/shoes, and a lot of priceless memorabilia. We are working out a plan to get him back on his feet. A few family members have reached out to assist, and several friends have offered. We have put aside our plans, and our focused on starting over.
