This is the medical bill fund, will be used for Justin's medical costs and related expenses.

Justin Salcedo is from a small town south of San Antonio, TX. We live in Devine, TX. He is a good athlete, a good son, and a good friend to everyone. Always has a smile on his face. He just recently found out he had testicular cancer. His mother is the one who told me the story of how he found out about his cancer. I have known him for about 17 years. My sister-in-law baby sat him when he was little. My son and Justin were in pre-K together, they were in little league baseball, our local youth basketball league, Middle school athletics and 2 years highschool athletics. So for this news it was a shock to me and I am not his immediate family. It feels like dream.....
He had been feeling a pain in the groin area back in November of 2011. He dismissed it and later on felt pain again. This time they went to the ER in a town about 35 miles east of us.
They did an ultrasound, blood work and was later told that he should go see a specialist. He dismissed that as well until an appointment was made and more exams were done. The physician then said he had testicular cancer and that it could be curable. He had some small spots seen throughout his body. However, after having surgery they would see what the prognosis was.
A young friend of his posted on her wall that he was told he has stage 4. Justin does have some insurance but only a percentage from the insurance will cover some of the expenses. So medical bills, and regular living expenses (food, electricity, phone etc), gas to and from clinic daily--it all adds up. Linda left her place of employment and now they are down to 1 income. .
Justin will begin a battle for his life during aggressive chemo. I would like to help alleviate some worries for his parents. No one who has children want to see their child grow through something like this, and not wished upon anyone not even an enemy. We can't change this disease, but we can change how they fight it! Thank you all for your donations, support and most importantly prayers. We do believe in miracles and we pray for one each day.
God Bless you!
