Please Help Carol Raise Funds For Safe Transportation to the doctor. Her broken leg makes it even more vital then ever! Thank YOu
Carol Coons has been a paraplegic for 30 yrs and is the mother of four children; Krista 25, Kyle 23, Rebecca 19, and Jennifer 13. She has bee separated from her husband. The two oldest of her children are United States Marines. Kyle was in Japan for four years and just arrived back to the states September 2012. Upon his arrival the family got news that Krista's going away would be in October. On the way to Krista's house the water pump in the van blew up causing the engine to blow leaving Carol, Kyle and Rebecca stranded on the side of the interstate 90 miles from Krista's house. The van is no longerl on the side of the interstate. However, the family is still without transportation. Kyle and Rebecca are in Pensacola 444 miles away from home trying to remove and/or sell tthe equipment in her van and junk the van. They are planning to use any money they can get from these items (if they sell) to use toward new transportaion, However, that will not even be close enough, yet it will help. As a parent, you can imagine how difficult it is to not be able to do the things in life necessary with your children because of the lack of ability or transportation.
While Carol was stranded in Pensacola she had a fall an broke her leg and is going to have surgery to try and repair the damage. This is another burden Carol must carry financially and physically. She is now depending on others to help her with her daily activities untill she is healed. Pray for this family as it seems one thing after another continues to plague them But please note: Carol considers herself BLESSED for every day she has with her faily and friends.
Carol was devastated being separated from her youngest,, and is grateful to be home. Carol is providing for three of her children on her disability income. Carol's spinal cord injury has contributed to more physical break-down as the years have pass by. Her kidneys, heart and bones have been affected and she has developed diabetes as well. We are praying to raise enough money to purchase a used wheelchair accessible vehicle to get around in. Any and all donations you can contribute to help bring Carol's family the necessary transportation, is gratefully appreciated..It is a humbling experience, to have to ask for the support and help of others. Carol is one of those people that would do anything she could to help her military family and any other person in need. So asking for help is very dificult for her and something she has only resently had to do. Thank you in advance and may God see to it that these prayersas well as yours are answered soon.
