Your help makes a critical difference to a Disable person in need,

My mom's best friend Pickles is a 26 month old Pug who needs back surgery to repair a slipped disc in his back. We are unable to afford the estimated $5,400 needed to perform the surgery and therapy. We are unable to obtain financing through veterinary care credit agencies due to being on SSI low income. From having a brain aneurysm at the age of 42, 18 years ago, I have been taking care of my mother on my own, and times are hard.  I have sold everything of real value to make sure she is well, healthy, and happy.  Two years ago Pickles came into our lives as a companion for my disabled mother, who can do little more than sit in her comfy chair and play cards with whomever she can talk into playing with her.  Pickles gives her much so much joy just sitting with her, not to mention when he was well and would play fetch.  He was such a happy dog.  Now he has a hard time getting around and wants to sleep all day.  Without this surgery we will be all but forced to give him to a no kill shelter.  His front paws drag when he walks because his front legs don't always cooperate with him due to the pressure put on his spinal cord. He is currently on bed rest and pain medicine but he cannot remain on the pain medicine, it is only a temporary fix and he is not a happy puppy. He needs surgery ASAP, before it worsens to the point where surgery won't help. The surgery would fix his slipped disc and he would be able to walk again and enjoy life without pain. He has no other medical problems and is completely healthy otherwise. He is a very beloved pet and a loving dog who was once so full of Life. Our family would be devastated at this completely unnecessary loss. He is family. **100% of donations will go towards his surgery and therapy ** Please give whatever you can and know that you have helped a friend and family in need! From the three of us, Thank You!
