The family and friends of Mrs Bagley's are uniting to raise money to help with her battle against renal failure. Please show your support!!!

My name is Ravi. I am trying to establish enough funds for a Dear friend of mine. This friend is really not just a friend but more in my eyes. I only hope she feels the same. This is for her adopted mother who needs a kidney transplant. She is diagnosed with renal failure. Renal failure or kidney failure (formerly called renal insufficiency) describes a medical condition in which the kidneys fail to adequately filter toxins and waste products from the blood. The two forms are acute (acute kidney injury) and chronic (chronic kidney disease); a number of other diseases or health problems may cause either form of renal failure to occur.
Renal failure is described as a decrease in glomerular filtration rate. Biochemically, renal failure is typically detected by an elevated serum creatinine level. Problems frequently encountered in kidney malfunction include abnormal fluid levels in the body, increased acid levels, abnormal levels of potassium, calcium, phosphate, and (in the longer term) anemia as well as delayed healing in broken bones. Depending on the cause, hematuria (blood loss in the urine) and proteinuria (protein loss in the urine) may occur. Long-term kidney problems have significant repercussions on other diseases, such as cardiovascular disease. The operation is not in the states but in Indonesia. The cost of kidney dialysis averages about $44,000 per year per patient (Univ of Maryland, 1993 data). However this is just the start. Kidney transplant procedure costs can range widely but most average from $25,000 to $150,000 (Emory). $38,000 for a kidney transplant (Health Care Technology). The average of these four references is about :$54,875 – which covers the Hospital, Operating Room, Supplies, staff, nurse, surgeon and medications in hospital. What I consider as the total cost of surgery is the following: OR, Supplies, Staff, Nurse, Surgeon, Medications in OR, Anesthesia – not the hospital room or after patient care – what the hospital charges and not what insurance pays – hope that clarifies things. Revolutionary ideas really are out of place in a dialysis facility. All you can do is take what comes and
try not to get upset.

A kidney is special in its own way. Just because it is, we have its own Day.

From removing waste, for us to use in haste. Kidneys are there for us, so let's not forget them on a bus.

Kidney failure is a killer at large, but anyone can get it because it doesn't charge.

Now we should raise awareness & this is promoting fairness. Because no one should suffer, and not even those who are tougher.

Now we raise our glass with cranberry juice, hoping that it doesn't drip all over our ass =)

Cranberries help our kidneys do their job, so let's drink them so that our kidneys do not sob.

Now I've got to go, read about kidneys some mo'

Have a great day to who all read this, please help out this noble cause.
