This is The Prince Noah Fund. The funds will be used to provide our 9 year old Brittany Spaniel with a major life saving surgery.

On 9/23/2011, Noah went in for his surgery. We did not raise 100% of the money, but he could no longer wait as the gland was growing at a faster rate and obstructing his ability to eat. Please continue to help us raise the remaining balance of his surgery ($800). Thank you again to all those who have helped and to those that couldn't help financially, but sent lots of love, prayers, and healing.

To date, we have raised $1300 via give forward, cash donations, and selling our things at the flea market.

Prince Noah Le Fougueux, our 9 year old Brittany Spaniel, is in need of a major, life saving surgery.

Noah has a ruptured salivary gland that is continually filling up with fluid. Eventually, it will begin to interfere with his ability to eat, drink, and breathe, greatly diminishing his quality of life.

But there is still time to intervene via surgery that will remove the ruptured gland and allow him to continue to live a happy and healthy life.

To date, our veterinarian has drained the gland and used drainage tubes to try and rectify the problem. Unfortunately, this was a temporary fix and the ruptured gland as resumed full size again. The gland is currently the size of a soft ball and growing.

On August 18, 2011, we awoke to a very sick Noah. Having spiked a temperature of 105.1 and rushing to the emergency vet hospital, blood work, x-rays, and a sample of the fluid in the gland revealed an infection inside the gland.

He is currently being treated with antibiotics and pain medicine to keep him comfortable, but Noah needs to have surgery to permanently remove the gland.

Without surgery, Noah’s quality of life will be jeopardized and the only humane thing to do would be to euthanize.
We don’t even want to entertain that idea. Noah, for all intents and purposes, is our son, as we have no children of our own.

We are at a crossroads where we must choose between life and death, and we choose life!

We have spent the last of everything we had for treatment and intervention thus far. And now, we must raise $3000 for surgery, diagnostic testing required prior to surgery, and after care.

We know that times are tough for everyone right now, so we understand if you cannot help with a monetary donation. Helping to get the word out by passing the link to this page on, not only helps to make people aware of Noah's situation but also helps to also bring awareness that there are thousands of animals out there who need veterinarian care that their owners cannot simply afford on their own in these tough economic times.

If everyone could help by donating $1 or $5, we can move closer to our goal and Noah can resume a happy an healthy life.

Our family would be more grateful than you could ever imagine.

Every penny raised will be one step closer to Noah’s recovery.

100% of all money donated will go toward the required tests prior to surgery, the surgery and stay at PVSEC,Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Clinic, and any after care and follow-ups with Board Certified Veterinarians. You can visit Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Clinic's website at

Please pass this around to your friends, family, and co-workers. If everyone donated even $1, that is $1 closer to Noah resuming a healthy and happy life.

Prayers and healing from all faiths are also welcomed while we go through this difficult time.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any help you can provide.
