Help Emory Claus fight liver disease
This is the Emory Claus Liver Transplant Fund. The funds raised will help with Medical expenses and other related costs.
Emory was born with a liver disease called Biliary Artresia. She was diagnosed with this disease at 7 weeks of age. This disease has many different forms, but in Emory's case she was born without a gall bladder and she does not have the proper duct work for her liver to function properly. She will soon have to have a liver transplant.
She has recently just had another surgery to place a feeding tube directly in her stomach. This should help her body to more rapidly absorb nutrition that she needs to gain weight and grow properly.
Emory is now almost 7 months old and weights 14 pounds. She has already had two surgeries in her short life and will recieve a liver transplant in April from her daddy. The funds that she receives will be used to cover medical expenses, insurance will not cover.
