This is the Savannah Survival Fund. The funds will be used for Savannah's medical costs and related expenses not covered by insurance.

You would never be able to tell on the outside that our daughter is suffering on the inside. When Savannah was only 2 weeks old we knew something wasn't quite right. She cried every time she ate, she wasn't sleeping and her whole body was always covered in hives and rashes. She scratched constantly causing severe bacterial staph infections form head to toe. As she got older the specialists found that she had food allergies and a immune deficiency called CVID and was started on monthly blood infusions and we took the foods out of her diet and she got a little better but not a whole lot. When she was almost 4 years old she had an upper endoscopy and stomach biopsy done at Scottish Rite to rule out Celiac Disease. Well we did rule out Celiac, but the doctor discovered something worse. She was diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis. A rare disease that causes inflammation in the esophagus. She was then put on oral steroids to help with swelling and a food elimination diet. During this process her skin seemed to be getting worse and she became more sick. We were seeing the allergist/immunologist on a regular basis (2x a month) and they discovered she also had this disease in her blood. Her bone marrow produces this white blood cell called eosinophils, but hers produces more than it it should causing her to be ill. That disease is Hypereosinophilic Syndrome. There are no cures for either of these diseases! And its all related to her allergies! At this point there are 7 safe foods she can have and the rest shes allergic to. We have to travel for her doctors out of state to Cincinnati Ohio. We are hoping we can get a treatment plan to keep her comfortable!

She is a beautiful little girl and deserves the best medical treatment possible. If you are unable to donate please send her hugs and uplifting messages! It will mean the world to her!
