I lost the most amazing dog, and her brother is lost without her. This is to help with the medical bills and future recovery of Phoenix.

On October 24th, I let my dogs out. I realized I hadnt grabbed my car keys and turned around for only a few seconds. Then I heard the sound of squeeling tires and prayed the strongest prayers I wouldnt turn around to see my worst nightmare coming true. Unfortunately it was... my beautiful shepherd was in front of a car and her brother was no where to be seen. I ran and grabbed her she appeared fine.. I screamed for my housemates to come help me and when they did I went to find my skiddish border collie cross. He too appeared fine.. so I grabbed him and got him in the car.. My beautiful housemate drove me into the emergency vet with my big beautiful shepherd in my arms.. I knew it was bad... she got out of my arms and crawled to the back of the car, stepping over her brother who was quietly laying in the back. I put my hand on his back and realized he too had been hit. My heart tore into shreds when I realized I could lose both of my children in one accident. I was complacent and I tookd for granted that their love would be mine forever. Carly passed at the emergency vet and Phoenix is still recovering from his internal injuries. Carly was such a blessing, she taught me every day how to love and be bold, and brave and to show love each moment. She lived her life every single day and I loved her with every cell in my body. Life without her is difficult, she added the color into my black and white world. Phoenix no longer wants to be left home and with winter coming I need for him to go to daycare so he can socialize and not be so lonely without his sister. I do not enjoy asking for help, but the bills are large and I work as much as I can to pay all I can but it just never seems enough. If you can help, thank you.. if you can offer guidance, it will be greatly treasured.
