Lily Pahana is fighting again... medical costs are a stress right now and any donation is greatly appreciated ☮ Thank you!
found in the back seat of a car at auction, Lily Pahana came into my life when she was just 2 days old. despite the odds, she thrived with frequent bottle feedings and layers of blankies. we have amazing friends that stepped forward to help with 'day care', feedings, and love.
in 2009, at the age of 11 months Lily P became severely anemic and was diagnosed with Pure Red Cell Aplasia. she had a bone marrow biopsy, a blood transfusion, and countless blood tests.
in September 2010, she spent 5 days in ICU and emergency in Tampa at FVS with Severe Thrombocytopenia. I slept on the floor and never left her side. 5 days and 4 transfusions later she was discharged, once again defying the odds! ~ the staff gathered to say goodbye and wish her well ~
For our regular care, we are so very fortunate that we found Dr. Romero and his staff at Palm Aire Amimal Medical Center. They are truly caring, understanding, and knowledgeable. We love them and appreciate all they do.
Lily P is unfortunately no stranger to fighting for her life, she is now fighting to breathe and enduring tests yet again. all the while, she defines strength and tenacity. i am so very proud of her, i love her so... i know she can get through this!
those of you that know me are aware that i am in a new chapter in my life and am struggling a bit to make ends meet as i work to build my business.
Lily's needs are immediate and i am humbling myself and asking for you to spare even just a couple of dollars if you are able to help her.
