This is for much needed surgery that Harley needs to fix a badly broken leg, and help with other much needed support due to a loss in income

About us:
We are a family of 5, Elizabeth (mommy), Luis (daddy), Victoria (big sister), Storm (little sister 5mth. old puppy), Harley (little brother 5mth. old puppy). We are a bit of an odd bunch, but love each other unconditionally. We have been through many obstacles, challenges, and struggles. This is probably our toughest time yet. Victoria is a bright 4 year old ready to start the new school year at Somerset City Arts Academy! However, this means uniforms, and that means money we don't have. A week ago we let our pups out to potty and about 10 minutes later, Storm came running, and Harley trailed behind her with his leg dangling behind him. His femur is now broken in 2 places, one at his hip and one in the center of the bone. We took him as an emergency to Miami Vet Specialists, not realizing that our Banfield plan would not help us there. We were faced with nearly losing Harley because we could not afford the X-rays and visit charge. Then the vet hit us with worse news. His break was so bad that there was no way to just cast it. This now requires surgery, and surgery we can't afford. He will not heal properly without surgery. After signing some papers and a promise to pay them back, our prayers to bring Harley home were answered. Although he was in an enormous amount of pain and nothing protecting his injury we took him home. We took him to Banfield the next day. Harley and Storm have been going there done we first got them almost 4 months ago. They have a preventive plan that we pay for, to make sure they stay healthy. They gave us a quote that we couldn't afford, and so we asked for all of our options. We didn't have many, since surgery was not done there for that, it required a specialist they didn't have. This amazing Dr. Rodriguez and her team were able to fund partially from the clinic itself and partially from the doctors own pocket to at least cast his leg. Although it will not heal properly, and he may never bear weight on that leg, at least it's something. Now we are in a tough spot, we have no money for rent, uniforms, school supplies, and surgery. We are drowning and need help! We have an infallible faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we know he will carry us along, and see us through!
