This is the Little Dog surgery fund. All donations will be used towards his orthopedic surgery and medications.

The newest member of our family, Little Dog, was struck by a speeding car on Jan, 30 2011. His pelvis has been broken and will require orthopedic surgery within the next week.

The night we moved in to our home it was storming terribly. As I was driving the last of our things including our two large dogs, Ella and Vixen, to our new home, I saw a little dog shaking scared in the storm. Not knowing how the girls would react to him I decided I would come back after I had dropped them off. Twenty minutes later I open my door to find this same little dog on my doorstep shaking so much he can hardly stand. I do not know how he found his way to our house, but I know he knew we would protect him.

He needs our protection once again and I am afraid that we will not be able to give him the help he urgently needs. If we are unable to have the surgery performed within the week, for humanitarian reasons we are going to have to euthanize him.

Little Dog is a member of my family. He brightens all of our days with his excitement and courage. Now he needs for us to have the courage to not give up, to keep trying. We have exhausted our finances but I refuse to accept that my little man cannot live because of a dollar amount.
